Yeah, you started it. I have seen all those posts before. I
think they keep them stored in a word file and they just cut, past
and hit send every time the word Ennis is mentioned.

I'm not saying it's sad to see it go. On the contrary
however the Ennis show was a for-profit operation and like
any other business if you can't keep the customers you'll
be out of business. If Warren wouldn't listen to the
customers then shame on him. Yes, I do know that it's
difficult to run a show however there's a big difference
between Ennis and say your show. Yes, the ACVW crowd is
diminishing. People are getting older, VWs are
disappearing. We're now the Model T's folks and every
time I take one of mine out I always think, "Shit, I can't
replace this if I bust it."

Ennis could have survived, first there was the Pro Stock
Drag bugs, that was fun. How about an old fashioned engine
blow? Bikini contest? Wait, I know, we're all a bunch of
geezers now so they'd need to pay for 20 ambulances just
            to cover the show.

Maybe it's just time that it has run its course. Your
show and Paul's are now the big draws in Texas but I do
know that you spend a lot of your own time and money
putting it on and that those that attend do appreciate it.
