Gravel. There are some municipal beaches in the city of Barcelona, but I think they dredge the sand up from the seafloor as they do in the Florida Keys and, I think, Galveston. Something I just had that you can hardly find in Spain; crispy bacon. They have bacon, but they serve it soft. Going to the last airport for the trip to actual home.
