Hi Babs, as far as I am aware, they do not install 2.5, only version 2. I
think Steve is the only person in the UK as well as the nib who can sell
2.5.

Hi Andrew.
Just as a follow up to my last email, you will get a better package if you
buy online or over the phone rather than in store as they often give you a
bundle of extra texts free with online/phone orders because of the manpower
saving one supposes. All you then need do is take the phone to your nearest
Vodafone dealer and they will send the phone off to Vodafone repairs for you
for talks installation.

Hi Andrew.
New connections/internet sales do not preinstall talks as standard. For that, you'll need to visit a Vodafone service point.

Hi All,
Has anyone called the new connections number and signed up? - And did the
phone arrive with talks installed a few days later?

Yes good for you, but this really should not have been necessary in the first place

Um, yes in some ways I agree with that. I had a problem with my partners phone and after a month of getting no replies from emails or phone messages from Mike, I got hold of his manager. The problem was resolved within 24 hours then! smiles.

Your quite lucky if you even get a response let alone any help from Mike, - sorry, but he has never responded to emails or phone calls I've made.

Hi Andrew,
My understanding is that they are in principal and theory although people have had some difficulty getting it in practise. One of the secrets appears to be not to go into your Vodafone dealership and ask for Talks. You should ask if they know anything about "The speaking phone". If they say no, then get them to look it up on their intranet. If you still have no joy, then the advice is to contact Mike duxbury by emailing
Mike.duxbury@xxxxxxxxxxxx
But again, people have had mixed results and experiences with this.
Cheers now.
Ian.

Hi Folks,
Anyone know if Vodafone is still giving free Talks. Also, does anyone know any contact numbers?
