Hi, A bit of a clarification as well. The SIM is only needed for NSU and FOTA updates. I'm not actually sure why it even requires it, as, based on what I said before, it's not actually used in the detection check. That's why you can use any SIM in an unlocked phone, but if the product code restricts the available updates, you're not going to get anything regardless of which SIM you use. Sorry for any confusion there. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein. It's all based on product code. That's why you can change the code, leave the SIM in there and it'll still update. Of course, if you're flashing with something other than NSU or FOTA, than even the product code doesn't matter as this security check is overridden. If for example, you have a Tmobile sim in there, then you would get Firmware 20.015, and not 21.006, which is the latest. What would be the reason for this? My phone isn't branded on any network, it was bought directly from Nokia. I managed to update to 20.115. However, I read on an earlier posting that Version 21 was available, is this correct? If so is that directly from Nokia or is it a version supplied by one of the networks?
