Hi,
From my knowledge, new firmwares are firstly available from the phone manufacturer, because it's them who developpe firmwares for their phones... Second, networks validate and brand them and made them available... So, in your case, in very few time if there is a new firmware for your model it will appears in nsu: nokia software updater.

Julien

Subject: [talks-uk] SOFTWARE UPDATE

Hi

On the subject of software updates, I recently purchased an N86 directly
from Nokia which had software version 10.5 or something. I managed to
update to 20.115.

However, I read on an earlier posting that Version 21 was available, is this
correct? If so is that directly from Nokia or is it a version supplied by
one of the networks?

Thanks

Pritesh
