You can change JFW so it don't refresh. This can be done in the JFW
configuration in the default or for each program you are using. Just some
thoughts.

hi guys. here's my write up about teamtalk. it's easy to use, even without
scripts. it's a beautiful thing. the audio quality is awesome. 
you can record the conversation as well, at least i think so. you might have
to turn off progress bar updates in teamtalk with jaws because it keeps
refreshing the list of channels and users in the server you're on. 
i talked to chip with it, and it was amazingly clear. it is just like a
phone. now, i just wish i had a built-in webcam. no go on that for me
though.
