Stan,
One of the reasons for the outsourcing is the 35% percent corporate tax rate in
the US which is the highest in the world. Add to that the tax on dividends,
capital gains and sales tax, etc. and the government earns more than businesses
do without any investment and without sharing any of the risk. That's the
stick. The carrot is the low wages in other countries, especially communist
countries. and trade deals that allow foreign made products to enter the U.S.,
duty free, while products produced in the USA are charged very high import
duties by those same communist countries. The government makes it impossible
for businesses to compete, not only globally but within the USA.
I would argue that communism is alive and well in the USA. It just still in the
overthrow the capitalist government phase.

Chuck
Marxism/Socialism which is not practiced in the USA if you look at the record
breaking stock market aided by loop holes, outsourcing, competitive bidding
where the losers goes bankrupt, Profit Before Patriotism for the Billionaires,
Trillionaires has become the handy scapegoat for whatever goes wrong. Tsk, tsk.

Dear Friend of "Chuck on the Right Side":
Why don't our citizens know the basics of our economic system, handed down by
our founding fathers, that has made us, the U.S.A., the richest country in the
world? Just recently, with the rise of Bernie Sanders, running for president
on the Democrat slate, many of the people (mainly young millennials) supported
his concept of Marxism/Socialism, and for which Hillary (in her losing effort)
also embraced.
Now with the election of Donald Trump, and his championing of the free
enterprise system, it looks like our country has dodged a bullet. For how long
only time will tell. Our latest editorial entitled, "Economics 101" explores
why the ignorance of our economic system is or will be a major problem facing
us in the future. CHECK IT OUT!
