[slackintosh-users] Slackintosh 12.2?

It's late July 2009, any chance that Slackintosh 12.2 will become available?
Currently I'm running 12.0 and see that the xfce weather applet no longer works
due to a change in the API of the website supplying weather info. According to
posts, I need to update GTK+2 to a more recent vintage - Slackintosh 12.1
version of GTK+2 qualifies.
I removed 12.0 GTK+2 and installed 12.1 version - but some stuff is missing.
Is it safe for me to install all libraries (any whatever else) from 12.1 on my
12.0?
I'd rather download a 12.2 Slackintosh than parts of 12.1 to overlay 12.0.
