OK. Slackintosh is GREAT. FYI, I run Slackintosh 12.0 on two machines - a 300MHz G3 wallstreet and a 400MHz G3 iMac DV. Plus I run Slackware 12.0 on several x86 machines. I've NOT installed Slack* 12.1 on any machine. I prefer to wait for even numbered releases. I will upgrade some x86 machines from Slackware 12.0 to 12.2. > > I'd rather download a 12.2 Slackintosh than parts of 12.1 to overlay 12.0. > I think you should upgrade to 12.1 instead of mixing 12.0 and 12.1 > packages, Slackware original instructions: > http://workaround.ch/pub/slackintosh/12.1/UPGRADE.TXT should work very > well. > (ok, do not take them too literally: we do not have lilo ;-) ) I guess I'll have to download 12.1 packages so I can get weather forecasts working again in xfce.
