Michael,
If you're talking Sib 5.2.5 with the scripts, try going into the help system
and reviewing all the layers of keystrokes for selecting bars, staves,
scores, etc. Many of the single-stave selection keystrokes are extended by
adding another modifier key. Have not used Sib for a while, so not precisely
sure where the help is, but it's somewhere...

Hi all,
Working on another large composing and arranging project with scores of
eight instruments. Are there any handy keyboard shortcuts to be able to
quickly do any of the following:
1. select an entire measure top to bottom all instruments
2. select a large number of measures in one instrument, say 30 bars - right
now I am ctrl + shift + right arrowing one bar at a time
3. immediately move from the top staff of a score to the bottom staff in the
same measure
4. select all measures on one line of one instrument (what you could do with
the mouse by double clicking)
5. select all measures in the entire score of one instrument (what you could
do with the mouse by triple clicking)
6. how do you select a measure with control that makes the double box around
the measure so you can delete it
That's my wish list. Hoping it might be a little like Excel and there would
be ways to do some of these things with keystroke combinations.
