Dale,
Double clicking with the mouse selects the approximately four or five bars
in a single system within a page.
Triple clicking would highlight all measures on that instrument from the
first bar to the last.
Admittedly I don't need to do this that often.
On the question you answered, I'll try your control + delete, thanks.
Michael

Could you please explain more about the differences between items four and
five?
As for item number six, if you want to delete a bar from the score, simply
select that bar on one staff, then press control delete.

Hi all,
Working on another large composing and arranging project with scores of
eight instruments. Are there any handy keyboard shortcuts to be able to
quickly do any of the following:
1. select an entire measure top to bottom all instruments
2. select a large number of measures in one instrument, say 30 bars -
now I am ctrl + shift + right arrowing one bar at a timethe
3. immediately move from the top staff of a score to the bottom staff in
same measurewith
4. select all measures on one line of one instrument (what you could do
the mouse by double clicking)could
5. select all measures in the entire score of one instrument (what you
do with the mouse by triple clicking)around
6. how do you select a measure with control that makes the double box
the measure so you can delete itwould
That's my wish list. Hoping it might be a little like Excel and there
be ways to do some of these things with keystroke combinations. If you wish to unsubscribe, send a blank message
