To select all of the measures on one staff, go to the beginning of the score,
then when you are on whichever staff you want to select, press control shift
and.

Double clicking with the mouse selects the approximately four or five bars
in a single system within a page.
Triple clicking would highlight all measures on that instrument from the
first bar to the last.
Admittedly I don't need to do this that often.

As for item number six, if you want to delete a bar from the score, simply
