George,

There does seem to be something strange going on. When I sent the link to
myself it came through in the clear. I'm pasting it again to see what
happens.

Dan,

I can't make head nor tail of it even now.

Suggest you go to http://tinyurl.com/ and create a nice short one.

George.

Peter,

Sorry again. There seams to be a problem including hyperlinks through
the list. I've just pasted the URL below using plain text. Copy and
paste it into your browser. Be warned that it's a very long link.

Peter,
This is a problem with Sibelius itself. Below is the link to an
article from
Sibelius' own support pages.

If this doesn't help, contact Sibelius directly.

Hi All,

Using Tim's solution I've had Sibelius Access running well on two
Windows 7 systems, but on one particular laptop running Win 7 Pro
32-bit, Sib 5.25 just won't run, despite the XP compatibility
setting. It sticks at a screen which says "Initialising Playback
system", and when you then try to shut down, you get an application
error from Sibelius.exe saying it can't read an instruction at memory
address xxx

Any suggestions as to other things to try please?

Best,

Peter
