Dave, The staff doesn't switch at all. I stay on the same staff, and the same bar, and the same note. I have to switch using the jaws cursor and the left click button, which is sometimes impossible. For example, when the playback window is open. Any other solutions that come to mind? Yes, it is difficult. However, try to do this. Route jaws to PC, then press page up, and down arrow until you get to a list of tabs (note that Jaws reports most things below that line as tabs, for example the headers for the list of available devices. Remember to focus just on the first line that Jaws announces as "tab"). You should see a tab called Manual sound sets. Sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn't, so try again and again: press home, and ctrl+right to focus on the manual sound sets, then left click. That should bring up a list of your sound sets that you can choose. Activate the PC cursor and tab around, you will find it. Take care!
