Hello, Gordon, great to be back in touch! I'm very excited with the new possibilities for Sbelius. Honestly, I am not very informed about accessibility for Mac and Protools. Could you point me in the right direction to get information and be up to date? Thanks! Hello patricia: This is Gordon. It's good to hear from you. I just bought sib 7 and altohough I haven't really tried doing anything from scratch, I think it has a lot of potential. It works great with the free screen reader, nvda. I hope they continue to work on improving the accessibility that is already in place. I have also been starting to use pro tools on the mac and like it. The future seems to be drifting away from cakewalk's sonar now. Hi, Kevin and all, I am Patricia Elena Vlieg from Panama, another blind Sibelius user. I started since the time of Sibelius Speaking and I'm delighted having experienced Sibelius Access and the recent news about Sibelius 7. I should be installing the trial version shortly on my machine using Windows 7, so thanks for all the insight. K, Well, I'm looking around my studio and there's one blind guy here. And if I add you, then we have two on the list. Don't know if George Bell has a count of members, but we wouldn't actually know how many of those subscribers are actually blind. There are privacy issues with self-identification and that sort of data cannot be given out. I'd take a stab at 50, given the traffic on the list over the past couple years, and presuming that most are blind. Dave Carlson From my Dell Latitude 630, currently not nearly close enough for my comfort to my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. But I'll try to remedy that situation. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin L Gibbs" <kevjazz@xxxxxx> To: <sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 01, 2011 19:54 Subject: [Bulk] [sib-access] How many people are on this board? guys, I'd be intrigued to know just how many of us there are. Does anyone know how many blind Sibelius users there are?
