I've asked a sighted guy who I know has downloaded the update. I won't be
doing it for at least two weeks until I finish a piece on deadline. If he
has any idea what you're describing, he's sure to do his best to describe
what you might be experiencing, along with the propper solution.

Thanks for the tip. I finally downloaded the full (2.6 Gb) file. Then I
launched it and after it finally extracted, I was presented with a blank
screen titled "Sibelius 6.2".
Now what do I do? No buttons, no links, no nothing.
Did you get the same result?
