Padmanaban, yes it means what it says which is just a restatement of 
Ohm's Law.  If you have specifically defined loads then you can 
optimize a network to meet those requirements.  The normal caveats 
apply as to: the actual signal content, beat frequencies, and 
parallel resonance(s).
