Hi Cody;

The section on reference planes in Pozar has a good explanation on the
algorithm . Basically you're just moving the reference plane.=20

Subject: [SI-LIST] Port Extension Algorithm

I would like to understand the algorithm used when the port extension
mode is used on a VNA. I have some S11 data that was previously taken
and would like to apply a port extension to it. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Cody Miller
