Abe,
I did a google search on David W. Frame and got a lawyer and a guy who's
been dead for a hundred years. Can you be a little more specific on
where
to get the material?
Thanks,
Ken

Dear Charles,

Recently, I read a Master's Thesis (document available on line) authored
by David W. Frame, entitled " Printed Circuit Board and Connector
Impedance
Matching Using Complex Conjugation".

It considers two impedance matching techniques for PCB connectors:

1. The "Pot Hole" method.
2. The complex conjugation technique.

It concludes that the simpler "Pot Hole' approach proves sufficient.

I thought this document may be useful to you, because it analyzes such
PCB discontinuities both mathematically and also via HSPICE simulations.

Best Regards,

Abe Riazi
