Besides, some handlers do not show dogs with white spots anyway,
regardless of how big the spot. <G>

Gee, could that be the reason for the dye jobs? Goes back to the issue of
breeding to a dog you thought had rich pigment, only to find out he was dyed
and you get weak pigment in the litter. I'll take rich pigment with the small
white spot any day over a washed out litter from a dyed dog. And, with the
health issues I am dealing with, a white spot is way too minor for me to care
about. JMHO
