[ SHOWGSD-L ] the "cat" incident

We double to make our dogs look better, we want them to look better because we
want them to win, we want to win because we chose this particular avenue to
compete, we want to compete because many of us are wired this way.....I have
seen the "cat" and perhaps I am different, I thought it was a brilliant idea
and I laughed when I saw it, when I found out the parties involved were
suspended I was outraged.....if you are going to punish some one for double
handling then every one should be punished, don't single some one out because
of their unusual method...that cat was not disrupting anyone nor was it in any
danger...perhaps I should have been suspended when I almost knocked Janice
Staley twenty yards running to double my dog....the hypocrisy in this sport at
all levels truly amazes me...some one ringing a bell, playing with a squeaky
toy, waving a cooked turkey leg ( yes I did see that, and I thought that was
great too) or using a cat in a crate...it's all doubling...you
punish one you punish all...its like the steroid thing in baseball that
hypocrisy pisses me off too...I really should be in church today....Ed

Your facts are not correct either about the "cat" incident...it was 30
days...and again that was due to poor sportsmanship of others and we paid
the price for being successful and people revengeful...NO CAT was ever hurt
or mistreated, but if you knew us the way you thought you did, Leslie loves
cats more than dogs as do most of the dogs on our property...and spreading
those rumors and feeding the internet frenzy the way certain people did was
nothing short of malicious...as is people who were not there making
statements...
Perception is the key word in both issues...and yes, I learned alot of
valuable lessons...so I can talk from experience...\
I never called anyone a LIAR those are your words...I said exaggerated,
there is a difference.
