Many times Tedi will send me to the other end of the ring, to double our dog. Then I usually stand there and watch the handler do a great job. If we win, I claim I did a good job, and when we lose, I take the heat for doing it wrong. When I handle, Tedi does whatever she thinks is the right thing in doubling, and I tend to try to handle the dog, and ignore what is going on outside the ring. I expect the judge doesn't care one way or the other. We tend to blame the double handler too much. A decent judge will see the dog or bitch, and a double handler can't change the structure. But, don't tell the doubler that if they think you lost because of what they did.
