How can the AKC interpret it as a rule, when it is not in their handbook as  
a Rule?  It may be interpreted individually by some and wrongfully so as a  
"rule" but the AKC is still using it as "guideline " as has been pointed  out.  
If you call a rep on it, and have them show you the rule, they will  usually 
back down. They know it is not against AKC rules, only judges  discretion.
