Lucy, I agree with you. The entry in Georgia in 1986
was over 800 and it was Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
We didn't stand around a look at an empty ring for a
hour or so. I missed some good things this year,
because I left the arena to do something else. There
is no reason why Parade of Greats, for example,
couldn't have been ready to go in right after morning
judging. It took forever and that is one of my
favorites and I missed part of it, because the ring
had been empty so long. It seemed like it took over a
hour, maybe closer to two (empty ring) between bitch
and dog specials. Let's cut conformation back to 3
days. The other performance events can start earlier
if they want.
