Some dogs are like people - they don't all like the same thing or eat the same way. First of all - no people food! If the dog seriously needs weight I used to try satin balls. And he would kill for that small dog CESARS mixed in. Yes, pick up the food after 20 min or even earlier. Competition never helped my dog eat. He just didn't care! You may have to try different kibble, little water added, no water added etc. My dog did NOT like raw anything. So that was not an option. He did love fish though and the smellier the better. Not mixed with the kibble but served on the side - a good hunk of mackerel or sardines. This may get a dog started eating by stirring up the digestive juices. Fussy dogs are hard and what works for one may not work for another.
