The problem I have had with co-ownership and/or breeding contracts is that
people sometimes choose not to honor them and then THEY sue YOU for full
ownership of YOUR dog.
So you spend $20,000 in legal fees trying to get them to honor the contract
they signed. I have had this happen to me with five different people.
So my advice would be a hand-shake deal is as good as the "contract" because if
they decide not to honor it you are right back to their integrity and their
word.
