A notary only means the person who signed it, is the person whose name is
on it. If someone is going to fake a name, you probably shouldn't be
dealing with that person.
I always liked the saying, "I would never join a club that would have me
as a member." Few of you remember Graucho.
But, if you don't trust someone, contracting with them is not a good idea.
On the other hand, if it is a friend, putting down the terms is always a
good idea.
