I truly believe that if BSL grows and becomes acceptable, eventually every
large or powerful or protective breed will eventually be included. As you
eliminate one breed that is misused, the people misusing them will not fade
away, they will get another more legal, less conspicuous breed. As the new
breed draws ire from the public and is included into the legislation, than
the abusers will simply move to another breed. It will be a repeating
cycle, the ownership and responsibility will never improve. The fad of what
breed to use to 'promote' and 'signify' your badness will simply change over
the years till all breeds are ruined and banned.
