[ SHOWGSD-L ] Richard Pryor Is smiling

I think I read on this list the following..."when you are born, You are crying
and every one around you is smiling...when you die every one around you is
crying and you are smiling"........the funniest man in the history of my world
is gone today at the age of 65...while working as a counselor in Santa Clara
County juvenile hall I brought in a "Richard Pryor In Concert" video tape to
show to my unit of about sixty, 16 and 17 year olds ......well I almost got
suspended..lol.....the Hall then put in a rule about getting Supervisory
permission before a video can be shown in the units...they called it the "Ed
Hill" rule...That man has had such an influence on my life and
personality...humor is something I just can not do with out......we lost a
Great one...heaven or where ever Richard is going, is going to be a heck of a
lot funnier tonight...Ed Hill
