Lew, I like the idea of all dog classes judged, then the following day all bitch classes. This would be easier on the handlers and the way they book, I would assume. I think it would also be easier on owners with entries in both sexes. The down side could be the judging limits per day as set by the AKC. Where is my rule book, when you need it? I do think that most need and want a somewhat shorter National. The days are often to long, you go from event to caring for dogs to meetings, often without dinner or a change of clothes etc. I like the slogan for 2006, with the encouragement the club can grow, committee's will have more help in getting the job done by encouraging participation. I feel there are many who are willing and capable of helping, they just need to come forward and be welcomed.
