I don't think her personal preference would be an issue in the end result if she can draw what someone wants. It's still up to whoever is making the decisions about the depictions whether the art is accepted or not, not the artist. Certainly an architect or engineer can produce blueprints and drawings which do not conform to their personal preference of design.
