Heck no! The ROM is supposed to be about producing ability, and quite
frankly, I would never EVER take a dog that ended up being mediocre and try and
finish it to get the stud/brood bitch get her ROM.
If the ROM is about production ability, why would you want to try and finish
a mediocre dog from that animal? I personally think it's an insult to the
breed, your breeding program, and your stud dog/brood bitch!
The ROM should be about a dog that produced the best of the best, not one
that just barely scraped by with the requirements with a bunch of mediocre
animals that happened to finish in 59 shows.
