Back when the idea of the stud dog issue came up, Laura IM'd me excited about 
the idea of putting her "Boss" in the issue.   Boss is Laura's first GSD Show 
Male and first GSD Stud Dog.   She is understandably proud.   We decided to 
put both the "boys" in an ad and I went to work.   I emailed Gail several times 
for advice as I was putting together an idea.   (yes, I saved the emails, 
mine and hers). The check was cashed.   Then silence, while we eagerly awaited 
the Issue. Four (FOUR!) months later, I gave Laura the sad news that her "Boss" 
and Yo were not in the issue and I emailed Gail for an explanation.   The 
unbelievable reason was that our ad wasn't in the correct format!   And that 
she 
hadn't received Laura's photograph of Boss.   After about 5 emails from me 
asking for input, and telling Gail that she should change our ad if it wasn't 
what 
she wanted, AFTER asking for input about what was proper for the ad.   Four 
months without a word, then this "explanation".   I'm sorry, I really like Gail 
and she and I have worked through a few ads before, but this time, THIS is 
inexcusable.   And to put the "blame" on Laura and me is also inexcusable.   I 
don't know what problems is behind what is happening with the Review, but this 
is our story.   And to put the cashed check to "credit"?   I'm speechless 
again.
