Someone once
posted that with the strides that have been made in breeding, is it a good
thing to turn back? I am not saying that, but wondering if that could be
right.....that going back to past studs is not in the best interests of the
breed?

That was my question. I don't have the answer, and I still am pondering it.
We have frozen sperm on Ben, and will have to consider if we want to use it
or not. If we continue to improve with every generation, should we set back
the breeding program by using a stud dog long gone.

It is an interesting question.
