In my experience, many puppies outgrow their heart murmurs. Usually by about 4 months they are gone. If the vet does find one, it is documented on the contract with the severity. And most dogs lead perfectly normal lives if it is just a mild case. If it was a more severe case, I would probably run the pup on for a while to see what happens.. And depending on the breed, that would dictate what you might do with a murmur.
