I read the email in question this morning and IN NO WAY did I see it as
attacking Jim and Edie or I too would have been appalled. I saw the
reference to
them as an attempt by the author to provide a straight-forward accounting
of
what the person in question has been involved in, and perhaps to point out
that
she has fooled good, responsible people into thinking she was a responsible
and ethical breeder.
For the record there are many others, well known in the breed, who have been
aware of some of the short-comings of this breeder for several years.

Thank you for actually "getting" this. This is NOT, I repeat loudly a'la
Tom Castriota ...NOT ABOUT THE STUD , THE BITCH OR EVEN THE INHERANT SERIOUS
PROBLEMS WITH THE PUPPIES IN QUESTION. This is about a BREEDER that does
this,
and has a LONG track record, that we are beginning to find out over the last
several days, is not ethical, and plays upon peoples' sympathy and desire to
believe " a poor old lady" . This is one of a long history of questionable
dealings, and out and out (and entirely factual ) scams she has perpetrated
on people for at least ten years if not longer.
This is not RUMOR, CONJECTURE, LIES OR INSINUATION;. IT IS FACT, AND WE ,
AND OTHERS CAN AND WILL BACK IT UP.
The thing that bothers us and the puppy owners is that neither the stud
owner NOR the Breeder is calling or emailing or offering apology, or
concession , and we are, to date the ONLY party that anyone has heard from
regarding
the issues. We embarked on this as a Team so to speak with the stud owner
and breeder. Now that there are problems the "team" is gone and silent and WE
are left to do the right thing. We will, because we are ethical and
although the other parties have to date have not made an attempt to make this
right...WE will. WE will not ABANDON the owners , we will do whatever we can
to
help everyone in this. We did not breed these dogs, we do not own the stud,
but
because we were involved in the sale of TWO we will help anyone that needs
it.......we own one of these puppies, we are MORALLY driven to help and
support anyone involved with a dysplastic pup.
This is not Rumor, and is not an easy thing. We know we risk a lot by going
public here...but we cannot and WILL not stand by and watch these people
with their dysplastic puppies be treated like they don't matter and don't
exist
by the breeder and others.
If that makes us criminals then so be it. At least WE will be able to
eventually come out of this knowing we made every effort to make this right.
