I have friends who discovered they have already fed NINE bags of the recalled food to their 10+ dogs. Their vet said if their dogs do get sick from this toxin there is no treatment, so obviously they are beside themselves with worry. Is this accurate that there is NO treatment or anything they can do to stop/reduce any potential illness before any symptoms show up? They have one unopened bag left which I suggested they ask Diamond to have tested (would think testing the food would be cheaper then paying for bloodwork on 10 dogs) but they have been unable to reach a LIVE person through Diamond's phone number, only automated choices. They are not on the list so any suggestions or advice I can forward to them would be appreciated.
