Yes, and in addition to double handling, it is also against the rules to
"alter" our dogs in anyway including dyeing, chalking etc., but walk through
any all breed show and nobody is being "inconspicuous" about that at all.
Actually, not even just all breeds anymore. At some specialties and even
Nationals I have seen this and other rules broken very blatently.
Evidentally, it is ok to have a set of rules and then pick and choose which
ones you will follow and then judge others for picking and choosing differently
from yourself.

excuse my "not knowing" but i had no idea it's against the rules to double in
an AKC ring. So if its against the rules, why do they let us do it? Why do
they have this rule if they just ignore it happening? Who is supposed to
"tell" if "we" are doubling? Are the clubs supposed to be notifying the AKC
that their entrants are doubling? I just never heard that it was against the
rules to double <laffin>
