Hi Evan,
I don't think that anywhere in his letter Jim voiced support of Hunte...only
that he couldn't just stand silent any longer while Carmen, who may well
have made some inappropriate choices, was maligned by so many, frequently
based on erroneous or out-of-context information. Jim is, and always has
been, a very loyal friend. Not to be melodramatic, but this is Carmen's
life on the line,
a big part of how he sees himself as a person....he is a German Shepherd
person...don't alot of us identify ourselves that way? Jim would not do
anything other than stand for his friend.
