At the Westminster K.C. Show each year the Dog Judges Association of America
puts on seminars for all groups with selected breeds with in the groups.
This year The GSD was one of the Breeds presented by speakers from the
GSDCA.
The Dog Judges Association of Washington State puts on a 3 day seminar each
year in November. Kay Remensnyder was the Herding group co-coordinator two
years ago ( I think, correct me if I'm wrong)) when GSDs were offered
including a hands on.
A few years back the Judges Association of Oregon put on a two day seminar
form and function, one of the breeds was the GSDs. Featuring herding
conformation, and hands on.
Multiple breed Judges spend a lot of study time, travel time and money to
become approved to judge breeds and groups.
