By the way, thanks for reminding me of the Mac Mini.

I totally forgot about the mini, which would be a perfect replacement for the beloved G5 when the time comes. After all, I've got a good keyboard and mouse (Logitech) and wonderful VewSonic monitor, and I could remove the two drives in the G5 and put them in an enclosure and...

OK, I need to calm down now. :-)

I'm jealous of both of you. I am still using a G4 PPC OS X 4.11. Can't wait to upgrade... Probably will be the Mac Mini...

Hi Dean...
I have too an iMac G5 that I love very much, unfortunately I have now 17 thin lines on the screen.... I don't know what I have to do... Sometimes I dream to put the "inside" of my G5 into another case and plug-in another screen...it's just a dream. I'm thinking about the new mac-mini...
I love SEEdit Maxi

Hi all...

My simple G5 PPC (with OS X 10.5.8) is still my workhorse and will be for awhile. (At least, I hope it will).

I do have an Intel MacBook, and that's what I use for work stuff when I have to be on the road. (I give thanks regularly for coffee places with free wifi. :-)

Of course, I'd love one of the new iMacs (one of my clients has a 27-inch iMac), but as long as the G5 keeps chugging along, I will do the bulk of my work on it.

Also, I must admit, economics plays a role here, too. As long as the G5 keeps working, I can spend $$ on other things.

Cheers to all and long live the PPC. :-)

PS. Thanks to Sven for a wonderful piece of software.
