Mathis produces a mount, the MI-500, comparable to Software Bisque's
Paramount. The Mathis mount also comes with the Software Bisque TCS as
an option. The Mathis mount is probably about 3 times heavier than the
Paramount. I realize that weight in itself will not give a steadier
mount and so this could be a disadvantage, but maybe not. Does anyone
know much about the Mathis vs. Paramount to be able to give an opinion
which might be better from the standpoint of low periodic error,
steadiness, accuracy of orthogonality of the two axis, etc.?
