True. Last year I bought an absolutely new SL66. In original packaging. The focusing was stiff so I sent it to Harry Fleenor who verified that the camera was absolutely new. But it took over $300 of CLA and work to bring it into proper operation. It is now a magnificent camera to behold and use.
