Caught in the act.

I just went to the garage and looked at my stock of wet or dry sandpaper. I found a piece of 600 grit that had white on it, which would have been the material removed from the disks. I don't remember whether I used it wet or dry but would think that it was wet.

I do remember that I didn't "polish" the surface with anything else, just removed the deep gouges and the CD's copied very well.
