USB flash drives for storage seems to be prevalent. I would suppose their longevity is the same as other magnetic media?

i rememher the story, but as i recalled it , it appeared to
be a confusing violent movie, and at the end, it had a closeup
of a girl's face with a tear in it, and over the titles said
"walt disney"

it's been a while.

The recently late Sir Arthur Clarke wrote a short
story in the early 1960's in which the Venusians
come to Earth some thousands of years in the
future. Mankind is dead but they find
artifacts. The only thing they can decipher is a
strip of movie film and they are baffled by the
sight of Donald Duck throwing a temper tantrum.
