Don et al,According to my "Nuttall's Standard Dictionary of the English Language"published about 100 years ago, the plural of gooseis indeed geese. Group term for geese in flight is SKEIN. Group termfor geese on the ground is GAGGLE.Now see if anyone here knows what the term is for a group ofCAPERCAILZIES is !!! The book shows no plural for TORTOISE. Happy New Year, Jerry
