Her breasts and crotch area were completely covered, but her midsection was bare, as were her legs. We were deluged with letters about our "pornographic" cover! We used to always brace ourselves for the letters whenever we ran a semi-nude or nude photo in the magazine. The letters always came from the middle of the country, not the east or west coasts. Once a printer's error caused us to run a full frontal standing nude and the Titusville post office almost had to shut down due to the volume of mail, all from the midwest. We used to joke that maybe we just shouldn't sell subscriptions in those states. Beyond that is Wal-Mart censorship. If Wal-Mart finds a nude in your magazine they will stop selling it. Since they control so much of the market, magazines bow down and lick their feet. Bob
