Allen, That feeling sometimes applies when picking up a real tool type tool. I much prefer the tactile feel of a Snap-On ratchet handle as contrasted to a Craftsman with it's sharp corners and edges. For me the most pleasant tactile feeling cameras are Rolleiflexes and Leicas, possibly because I have used them since 1947. Leica goofed once, when they made a certain series of 90mm f2.0 Summicrons, whose aperture controls worked in the Nikon/Contax direction. Leica recognized their error and returned to their standard direction.
