Voigtländer und Sohn had two main locations
in Braunschweig after they came from Vienna, the first
one was at the corner Campe Strasse and Adolfstrasse
and about 1929 they moved to the new factory at
Berliner Strasse 53, in Gliesmarode, a Braunschweig
neighborhood. The Petzval strasse is close to the
Berliner strasse, Emmanuel Bigler commented he and
Dirk visited the former Voigtländer factory and
afterward they visited the Petzval strasse where they
could see a specialized camera repair shop, but he did
not write the former Voigtländer factory was at the
Petzval strasse, according German sources Voigtländer
was at Berliner Strasse 53, I insist, close to the
Petzval strasse but not on this street.
The current Zett address is in Brunswick but they are
far regarding the former Voigtländer, Zett is in the
northwest and Voigtländer in the east with the
Brausnchweig city between both neighborhoods.
