I shot a Nikon F3 with a motor drive in -13 Fahrenheit, and it never slowed
once.
Keeping it under my coat when I wasn't shooting helped help in this regard.
I had a Rollei SL that didn't fair as well. After a half hour in that cold,
the shutter was almost impossible to manage. I often wondered if the current
from the motor drive batteries keep the camera warm enough to shoot?
